So we are back, and lots left to deal with. Life goes on as they say lol.
We had a great time in Quebec city, I have the legs to prove it too!
I will post some pictures soon and also some from the wedding. Waiting to have them all.

49 days to go!
Yep, 49 days to go and still a lot to be done.
Dresses are with the seamstress and will have them back in 3 weeks.
What a nightmare... last week, my Matron of honor, my oldest daughter and I were playing dress up for the wedding. First, we realized that the beads were not strongly attached to the dress... it broke in the back. And NO the dress is not too small... Then my new jewelry also broke. Turned my head and part of the earring fell on the floor. Then later on, I noticed that the necklace was also broken in half... the set was returned to the store and I got a new one.
Lesson: Prepare an emergency kit for the wedding day. First item, glue gun lol... just in case. Second, a back up jewelry set.
I am so happy that this experience happened before the wedding. Now everything is being fixed, and lesson learned.
Today Guy, Gregory and Jonathan are going suit shopping today with Crystal and Terry. She is in charge to assure that the boys will match the colors of the Bride and her girls. Even though she hasn't seen the dresses, as I'm trying really hard to keep it a surprise, she has sample of the dresses colors. I truly trust she will do an amazing job.
She is also in charge of the wedding flowers that she will prepare at her shop. So lucky to have that kind of help. Thank you so much Crystal...
My Matron of Honor has also been a huge help... especially supporting me in my choices.
Lucie is amazing, her generosity, excitement, devotion...
Cheers to you my girls!!!

How we met
How we met is a beautiful and romantic story.
We both worked for the same employer (Federal Government).
I was located on the fifth floor, and Guy was on the sixth.
One day, I went on his floor to buy a drink from the pop machine.
Once I was walking back toward the stairs, I saw him. My jaw fell open, seriously.
I told myself, I will have to talk to this guy. He was wearing a shirt and tie which I'm always attracted to.
I shook my head and went on to my office.
Sitting, and not capable of doing anything, I'm questioning the feelings I have inside.
This had never happened to me before. Not that strong. I could barely breath.
In the mean time, Guy had also notice me on my floor.
One day, I had to go on his floor for some information.
To my surprise, he is the one I have to talk to.
I could barely speak. Lost my english, lost my french.
Well I guess I needed to buy not only vowels but consonants too!
How I look stupid.
Anyway, I went back to my office shaking my head.
I blew it is what I told myself.
So this went on for months... always talking a little more every time.
One day, I decided it was time for a more obvious move.
I asked him: ''What do you normally do on your lunch hour?''
His answer was: ''Oh it all depends, sometimes I stay here in my office, sometimes I eat at the cafeteria, sometimes I go for a walk.''
Me: ''Most of the time I eat alone in my office''
Me: ''I don't have a lunch today, you?''
Him: ''Me neither''
Silence... more silence... but I can't leave... and trying to figure out what else I can say... then...
Him: '' Oh, oh... hummm, oh, haaaaa would you like us to go somewhere to eat?''
Me with a huge smile on my face: '' Sure, sounds good. I know this place across the street that makes individual pizza, do you want to try it? I had it once and it was great.''
So we went and guess what, I was so embarrassed, the pizza was horrible that day... lol.
Anyway, from that day on, we had lunch together everyday, we exchanged phone numbers, email...
For two weeks, Guy brought me lunch. Of course, already taking care of me.
Then, one Saturday night, November 4, 2006, we spoke on the phone and he ask me if I wanted a visitor.
I agreed. This was our first official date.
The next day, he invited me to his place for dinner and to introduce me to his family.
While he is gone to get his daughter, he left me with his brother Mike. Who was the only family member I had met. Mike took me downstairs to meet the parents. Do you realized that I was introduced by his brother and not by him? Any of you that knows Guy, you can imagine the speech Mike got... lol
From that moment on, we were officially a couple.
Nine months later, we did not have a child, no, we moved into the new home we had purchased.
And two weeks after the move, it stared... Guy kept asking me to marry him. And I kept saying, yes one day my love but not now...
On December 11, 2010 Guy celebrated my 40th birthday and it was a surprise party. (my actual BD is on December 12).
On a bended knee, at the restaurant Naples (best pizza in town by the way) in front of a room full of family, friends and other clients, he said: ''Will you?''
And finally I said 'YES!'
Five years after we actually started dating, our wedding took place. (or will depending on when you read this)
I could not have asked for a more perfect man. I found my soul mate. That I am sure of.
So this is our story... hope you enjoyed it.
